Getting a quote is easy! Simply visit our Contact page or call us directly. We’ll ask about the size of your move, the distance, and any special requirements. We provide free, no-obligation quotes for all removals.

We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak moving seasons (month-end and school holidays). However, we do accommodate short-notice moves when possible.

We’re based in Worcester, Western Cape, and service the entire Western Cape region including Robertson, De Doorns, Paarl, Ceres, Montagu, Villiersdorp, Caledon, and surrounding areas. We also offer long-distance removals throughout South Africa.

Yes, Gorilla Logistics is fully insured. We carry comprehensive goods-in-transit insurance to protect your belongings during the move. We also recommend checking your home insurance policy for additional coverage.

Pricing & Payment

Our pricing is based on several factors: the volume of items being moved, the distance between locations, access difficulties (stairs, narrow passages), and any additional services like packing. We provide transparent, all-inclusive quotes with no hidden fees.

For most local moves, no deposit is required. For long-distance removals or moves requiring significant planning, we may request a small deposit to secure your booking date.

We accept bank transfers (EFT), cash payments, and card payments. Payment is typically due upon completion of the move, once you’ve confirmed all items have been delivered safely.

Packing & Preparation

Yes! We offer professional packing and unpacking services. Our team uses quality materials including boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, and furniture blankets to ensure your items are protected during transit.

We recommend: sorting and decluttering items you no longer need, ensuring all items are packed or ready to be packed, securing valuables separately, defrosting your fridge/freezer, and ensuring clear access for the removal truck.

Absolutely. We have experience moving delicate items including glassware, antiques, artwork, and electronics. We use specialized packing materials and handling techniques for fragile items. For extremely valuable items, we recommend additional insurance.

For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport: hazardous materials, flammable liquids, explosives, perishable food items, plants, pets, or illegal substances. Personal documents and jewelry should be kept with you.

Moving Day

Move duration depends on the volume of items and the distance. A typical 2-3 bedroom local move takes 4-6 hours. We’ll provide an estimated timeframe when we quote your move.

Yes, we require someone to be present at both the loading and unloading locations to provide access, direct the team on item placement, and sign off on the completion of the move.

We move in all weather conditions. Our team uses protective coverings and takes extra precautions to keep your belongings dry. Only in cases of severe weather (flooding, storms) would we discuss rescheduling.

Yes, our team can disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed. This includes beds, tables, wardrobes, and other items. Please inform us of any flat-pack furniture during the quoting process.

After the Move

We take every precaution to prevent damage. In the rare event something is damaged, please notify us immediately (within 24 hours). Document the damage with photos, and we’ll work with you to resolve the issue through our insurance process.

Yes, we can arrange temporary storage solutions if there’s a gap between moving out and moving in. Contact us to discuss storage options and pricing.

We can remove boxes and packing materials after your move for a small additional fee. Just let us know when booking, and we’ll arrange a collection time that suits you.
